By accessing or using heyduo.app (the "Site") and any services provided by HeyDuo, a product of HeyDuo LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

HeyDuo is a shared finance management platform for couples. It allows users to link bank accounts via Plaid, track shared expenses, split transactions, and interact with an AI financial assistant ("Duo"). The service is intended for personal use by individuals managing shared finances with a partner.

Early Access

HeyDuo is currently in early access. Features, pricing, and availability are subject to change. Early access does not guarantee continued access to the service or any specific feature set.

User Responsibilities

By using HeyDuo, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering or submitting forms
• Use the service only for lawful personal finance purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the platform
• Keep your account credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized access
• Ensure any partner you invite to share your HeyDuo account consents to the data sharing involved

Financial Data and Third-Party Services

HeyDuo uses Plaid to connect to your financial accounts. By using this feature, you agree to Plaid's terms of service in addition to ours. HeyDuo displays financial information for personal reference only. It is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or bank. Nothing in the service constitutes financial advice.

AI Assistant

The Duo AI assistant provides responses based on your connected account data. Duo's responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. Do not rely solely on Duo for financial decisions. HeyDuo LLC is not responsible for any actions taken based on AI-generated responses.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and design on this Site are the property of HeyDuo LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

HeyDuo and HeyDuo LLC are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeyDuo LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or financial loss, arising from your use of the service.
